Back to School Supply Drive
Yes it is that time of year once again. This year the jobless rate is higher. This year the budget cuts for education has increased. This year we will help even more families get school supplies and be a greater impact in Hampton Roads than ever before! Our goal is to make a change in the lives of others. We need your donations so we can purchase school supplies for needy families in the Hampton Roads area. If you or your organization would like to work on distribution contact us.

Y.O.U. ( Young Ones Unashamed )
Classes for young ladies and men provided in collaboration with 13th Disciple of Christ Church. Topics that are discussed include anger management, proper dating, self esteem, money management skills, job skills and volunteering and other life challenges. The age group ranges from 13 to 18 years old. We welcome Tonya Peterson and Knikeya Kaiser to our team as our Youth Counselors. Not only have they exhibited  a deep commitment, but they also have a true passion for our young girls group.
The Ansell Garden Community Day is coming up on Sept 18th. We will be there giving out school supplies and we want to get even more participation than last year. For more information drop us an e-mail or give us a call.






Our goal is to help everyone work toward self-sufficiency while providing a living example of what Jesus’ love can  do for all.


Deputy Director Tensis Harris with  Vernice "FlyGirl" Armour (former United States Marine Corps Captain).  Armour, America's First African American Female Combat Pilot spoke in our city in May.


Our food pantry and clothing closet are also available for those in need.  Please let us know if you have any items to donate or if you know anyone that can benefit from our services.
